At the start of your coaching session, it is helpful to meet weekly at least a few times, so that you can begin getting tractions toward your goals. Once you are making process and keeping up your motivation, you can meet with your coach every two to three weeks so that you have plenty of time to work on your assignment between sessions. What is the difference between therapy and coaching?
A common misconception is that coaching is the same as therapy, when in fact they are quite different. Therapy is intended to help people recover from emotional and other psychological disorders such as depression or anxiety, thus working on the clients past. Coaching on the other hand is intended to help healthy individuals achieve personal goals, therefore working on the clients future.
